ImTOO Wii Converter is a good video converter for Windows. The application allows you to convert your video files so that you can play them on your Nintendo Wii. There is only one output video and two audio formats supported: AVI, MP3 and WAV. This converter can open pretty much every popular video format, though, including AVI, MOV, MPEG, MKV, FLV, etc.
Graphically, the app has a very clean graphical user interface that is intuitive and very responsive. There is a video player for quick video playback, a few conversion profiles, and a panel on the right where the conversion settings can be customized a bit. Since the Wii uses a resolution of 480p, AVI is a good choice for a format as any.
In terms of performance, ImTOO Wii Converter does a good job of converting files. It is also very fast, and it can make use of multiple-core processors, if they are available.
It could be argued that supporting only 1 output video format, this application is a little expensive. And that is true, but I also have to say that it is well made and it has a great interface. If you are looking for a more robust converter, ImTOO makes a few converters that are sold for only 10$ more than this one, with support for lots of formats.
